James Dulay
In 2004, Professor James stepped onto the mats of the RCJ Machado Academy, drawn by a lifelong connection to martial arts sparked by his father's introduction to judo. What began as a personal journey of exploration soon evolved into a passion for teaching and competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
For Professor James, Jiu-Jitsu isn't just about physical mastery; it's a vehicle for personal growth and community building. Guided by his experiences on the competition mat, he found his true calling in sharing the art of Jiu-Jitsu with others, creating a safe and welcoming space where students can discover their own potential.
Today, Professor James stands as a beacon of knowledge and inspiration within the academy, his objective clear: to nurture a community united by their love for the art, empowering individuals to grow both on and off the mats. In every lesson, he embodies the essence of Jiu-Jitsu: discipline, resilience, and the unwavering belief in the transformative power of martial arts.
